Workshop Repair
We offer a fast but efficient workshop repair service. All costs are calcuated individually according the parts required (if any) and the labour costs involved. We have a minimum charge of £25 which covers the initial inspection. This will be incorporated into the total price if it exceeds this amount.
Often a simple repair or fix can be covered under the minimum charge meaning youj don't pay any more!
Wireless Networks
We offer a full set up service for wireless networks including router set up and connecting computers wired or wirelessly. We offer a full range of wireless equipment and we can advise on wireless security.
Typically a standard wireless network will take from 1 - 2 hours to set up and instal. Standard hourly on site rates of £34.99 (inc. VAT) apply.

On Site Service
Some computer problems need to be investigated on site. Broadband problems are a particular example of this because your broadband account can only be accesses on your telephone line.
And in some instances you may prefer us to visit you rather than you visit us. Businesses for instance as well as the disabled or infirm. We can arrange home visits - often at weekends or weekday evenings. Our rates are very competitive and once we have an idea of the problem we will always give an indication of the likely cost.
Examples of home visits are:
- Wireless Networking Installations or problems
- Broadband problems
- Printer or other peripheral problems.
- Installation of new systems
- Networking Problems.
Our onsite rates are £34.99 including VAT per hour. Typically an on site visit will last between one and two hours. More serious problems are usually returned to the workshop.

Collect and Return Repair and Upgrade Service
Computer Xpress now goes nationwide! We can now offer our repair and upgrade services for laptops and desktop systems nationwide.
We will always attempt to diagnose problems initially by email or telephone and from the information you give us we can give you a rough idea of the likely cost. In the case of upgrades we can also give an idea of costs, whether what you want to do is possible and in some cases, we can even give you a full quotation.
We will arrange collection of your desktop or laptop computer from your home or work. Once in the workshop we will diagnose the problem and give you a full quotation for the repair. We pride ourselves on our honest and blunt appraisal of computer systems and we will always make recommendations based on the age of the computer and whether it is indeed worth carrying out the work.
Once the work has been carried out we will return your computer to you fully working. Shipping costs are kept to a minimum (£10 each way for all UK mainland destinations - except some Scottish locations, and offshore islands). If however you prefer to use your own courier service for collection, delivery or both this is not a problem.
